All Trial GB Events for 2024 are part of the FIM Riders insurance Programme which allows appropriate repatriation for non-domestic riders to compete and score points in events that have been approved on the FIM open calendar and issued with an inscription number by the FIM.

Inscription numbers for the 5 rounds of the 2024 ACU Trial GB British Motorcycle Trials Championship are as follows:

  • RD 1 | Cumbria | Hosted by Bootle Scrambles | FIM NMFP / IMN Inscription #390/31
  • RD 2 | Surrey | Hosted by Hookwoods TC | FIM NMFP / IMN Inscription #390/32

Entry Process for Foreign Riders who do not carry an ACU License:

  1. Approach your federation who issues your license domestically and formally request a start permission letter for the event (s) in question. Quoting the FIM NMFP inscription number listed above.
  2. The letter returned from the federation needs to detail permission to race in the UK along with the federation taking responsibility for repatriation and any injuries incurred while competing in the UK. The letter must also detail the appropriate Inscription number.
  3. Fill out the appropriate offline entry form and send to the event secretary and Trial GB series manager together with the start permission document from your federation. This will allow both the ACU and event secretary to be informed. The rider will then be added to the event manually and entered into the usual rider ballot process and issued a start time as per the series regulations.
  4. On the day of the event the rider or riders’ team must pay the hosting club the standard entry fee during sign on or by arranging a BACS payment to the hosting club. Entry Fees are consistent with the standard 2024 price of £45 per rider and £15 per assistant (Trial GB Championship class only).

Note: The rider is eligible to both score points and receive awards on the day, the same as any other competitor. Please note that foreign riders can only be crowned as ‘open champion’ in the overall series points standings per series regulations.
